Best ever production by Tata Steel’s blast furnace in November
Tata Steel completed its production in the month of November on a buoyant note, by showing a significant increase in its hot metal and crude steel production. The figures are appended below:

Blast Furnaces and Steel Melting Shops recorded their best ever production of 5, 78,400t Hot Metal and 5, 13,789 t Crude Steel respectively during Nov’08 (Previous best 5, 54,892 t and 4, 89,312 t in Oct’08)

Sinter Plants recorded its best ever Sinter production of 5, 77,076 t (previous best 5, 68,395 t in Oct’08)

G Blast Furnace recorded its best ever hot metal production of 1, 92,100 t (previous best being 1, 90,942 t in Dec’06)

H Blast Furnace produced highest hot metal since its start up. It produced 2, 33,000t in Nov’08

LD#1 (one of the Steel Melting Shop) recorded its best ever production of 2,05,550 t (previous best 1,76,491 t in Oct’08 )
