Awards and Accolades

• 1990: Received the National award instituted by Department of Scientific and Industrial Research (DSIR) for ‘R&D efforts in Industry’ in the Processing Industries Category for Sponge Iron
• 2001: Received the DSIR National award for ‘R&D efforts in Industry’ in the New Materials category for developing new strength steel for auto body
• 2004: R&D was conferred the ‘Best R&D Laboratory in India’ award by the NACE International India Section
• 2006: R&D was conferred the ‘Corrosion Awareness’ award by the NACE International India Section
• 2007: Received the DSIR National award for ‘R&D efforts in Industry’ in the Successful Commercialization of Technologies category for implementation of technology for reducing hexavalent  chromium in chrome ore concentrates
• 2011: Received the award for the 'Highest number of patents granted to an Indian Owned Private company in the last 5 years' from the Ministry of Commerce and Industry at the 3rd Annual Intellectual Property Awards
• 2011: Received the Thomson Reuters Innovation award in the "Hi-Tech Corporate" category
